New member Global Financial Products

SSPA, The Swiss Structured Products Association, welcomes Global Financial Products to passive membership. The move further strengthens the position of structured products, a very important aspect of the Swiss financial center.

Zürich, April 30, 2012. Established in January of 2011, Global Financial Products, with offices in Pfäffikon, SZ, Zürich and Lausanne, is the latest addition to SSPA, the Swiss Structured Products Association, passive membership. Clients of Global Financial Products include banks, asset managers and pension funds throughout Switzerland for whom it develops individual structured product solutions to meet their specific client needs.

CEO and owner of Global Financial Products, Cédric Ullmo, had this to say about joining SSPA: “By developing custom solutions for our clients, tailored exactly to their needs, we actively support the development of the Swiss structured products market and thus, the Swiss financial center as a whole. Our reason for becoming a passive SSPA member is that we wish to contribute to the continued growth of the structured product industry and benefit from Association services at the same time.”

SSPA counts among its members Switzerland’s most important issuers and distributors

Today the SSPA represents the interests of 18 issuers and five passive members, which together account for more than 95 percent of Switzerland ‘s structured products market. According to SSPA president Daniel Sandmeier, “Welcoming Global Financial Products to our ranks underscores our strategy of the targeted opening of our Association to distributors, so as to better meet industry needs and interests. We welcome the greater commitment of Global Financial Products to our Association.”
