SSPA publishes ratings and credit spreads

The SSPA is now publishing members’ ratings and credit spreads on its website www.sspa-association.ch. This information, together with structured product term sheets, allows investors to determine liability issues quickly and easily. Ratings and credit spreads are updated weekly on the website.

Zurich, October 23, 2008. The SSPA is now publishing its 17 members’ ratings and credit spreads on its website. Issuers’ credit ratings represent important buy decision information for investors choosing structured products. The ratings and credit spreads help investors to estimate an issuer’s creditworthiness by giving precise and topical details of their credit rating. SSPA President Roger Studer: “This new investor service illustrates the Association’s goal of making structured products more transparent.”
