Positive verdict on redesigned knowledge and interaction platform

2100 professional and private investors visited the Structured Products Forum 2013 organised by Scoach Switzerland Ltd and the Swiss Structured Products Association (SSPA), which was held at the Kongresshaus Zürich on 23 and 24 October 2013. The initial feedback from the promoters and partners showed that this redesigned platform for knowledge and interaction was a success. One new part of the event that met with an especially positive response was the Arena, which featured roundtable discussions with high-calibre guests on the topics of «Market Outlook», «Currencies», «Regulation» and «The Swiss Financial Sector».

SSPA President Daniel Sandmeier gave his initial take on the Structured Products Forum 2013: «Putting knowledge transfer and personal interaction with experts at the centre of the Forum has really paid off.» Christian Reuss, CEO of Scoach Switzerland Ltd, added, «The changeover from the Fair to the Forum concept has further intensified the transfer of knowledge on the structured products asset class, the characteristics of the product categories and their possible uses in the current environment.»

Financial market guru Marc Faber attracted lots of attention from the visitors with his controversial keynote speech, held after hours for the first time. Otmar Issing, former member of the European Central Bank’s Executive Board, spoke to an attentive audience about the future of Europe and the euro. The six knowledge workshops on highly topical issues also proved very popular.

The Structured Products Forum 2014 will take place on 22 and 23 October 2014, again at the Kongresshaus Zürich.
