Jan Schoch joins SSPA Committee

The Committee of the Swiss Structured Products Association has elected EFG Financial Products’ Jan Schoch to succeed committee member Irene Brunner.

Zurich, December 13, 2012. Effective January 2013, EFG Financial Products CEO and founding partner Jan Schoch succeeds Irene Brunner on the SSPA committee. Ms. Brunner resigned upon leaving employer Royal Bank of Scotland last November.

As delegate of EFG Financial Products, Mr. Schoch has, for the past five years, represented the interests of the structured products industry in the SSPA. The going public of EFG Financial Products Holding AG contributed significantly to one of the milestones of Switzerland’s structured product market. States Mr. Schoch: “My goal as a committee member is to lastingly promote the interests of the issuers and distributors of structured products united within the Association, and to contribute to the formation of efficient regulations which in the end create effective customer benefit.” SSPA President Daniel Sandmeier added that “Mr. Schoch is an acknowledged structured product expert, with years of in-depth experience, including in international transactions. We are pleased that the Association will benefit even more from Mr. Schoch’s considerable expertise.”
