PwC Switzerland is a new member of SSPA

The Swiss Structured Products Association (SSPA) welcomes PwC Switzerland to its ranks as a new member and partner. With PwC Switzerland, the Association continues to extend its membership, bringing it to total of 34 members. The addition of PwC Switzerland further enhances the international advisory expertise in the Association.

Zurich, 5th September 2017: PwC is one of the world’s largest providers of as­surance, advisory, tax and legal as well as digital services with more than 223,000 employees in 157 countries. PwC Switzerland has around 3,000 employees and partners in 14 locations across Swit­zerland.

Roman Schnider, Structured Products Specialist and Director at PwC Switzerland, highlights the reasons for joining the SSPA: “PwC’s purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems, we would like the industry to benefit from our global network and our local know-how to help shaping the industry’s future. Becoming a member of the Association offers an excellent platform to exchange ideas and innovate.”

An active industry association with 34 members

The SSPA represents the interests of the most important market participants, who collectively represent in excess of 95% of the market volume in structured products in Switzerland. SSPA President Georg von Wattenwyl noted: “We are excited to welcome PwC Switzerland as a new partner-member. We are pleased about the benefit the company brings to SSPA through its expertise as well as the firm’s leading position in financial services.”
